UNJUST GAIN and the TRUTH ABOUT RIGHT TO CHOOSE (ABORTION)
The current status of America’s government, culture, media, individual and corporate reasoning varies from one hard line to another hard line, from anger, joy, screaming in the streets, determination to change or set in stone the current situation. Confusion and disarray on every corner.
In Jeremiah 17:11 we read the following: “As the partridge sit they on eggs an hatchet them not; so he that getteth riches and not by right shall leave them in the midst of his days, and his end shall be a fool.” And this sentiment is shared in Proverbs 24:10 “ If thou forbear to deliver them that are drawn unto death, and those that are ready to be slain; If thou sayest, Behold, we knew it not; doth not he that pondereth the heart consider it? and he that keepeth thy soul, doth not he know it? and shall not he render to every man according to his works?”
As Eve and all mankind are to learn: There are 3 things established …. 3 are truth and 3 are a lie.
TRUTH ESTABLISHED
In the beginning in the garden of Eden was the starting point. A place of perfection, no responsibility, no stress, no strife, no pain, no tears, just a decision. A decision between obedience and disobedience.
There were only a few involved in the situation as opposed to the billions involved today. God, the Father – the giver of life (Gen 2:7) … Jesus – Son of God (God in the flesh) for by him all things that were made were made (John 1:1-5) and the Holy Spirit with the Father and Son. Adam – God saw fit to breath into man the breath of life and Adam became a living soul.
In that tranquil beautiful place, Adam knew only the kindness of God. He was created in the likeness of God, established by God and he was given dominion over the animals. A place he belonged, a place of peace and safety in the very presence of the Almighty. Eve – Because of God’s love for Adam, Eve was created.
Eve knew only Adam and God and she fit perfectly where she was placed. The Deceiver – that old serpent Satan who was waiting to voice his opinion.
Perfect life was created with everything in the order that would allow life to prosper. Gen 2:9 tells us “And out of the ground made the LORD God to grow every tree that is pleasant to the sight, and good for food; the tree of life also in the midst of the garden, and the tree of knowledge of good and evil.”
Adam was given one direct command (TRUTH) by God “Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat; but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.”
TRUTH CONCEALED Perfect life in the perfect setting until the the Deceiver walked up ….. The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy ( John 10:10). The deceiver boldly walked right up Eve and challenged God. Eve was spoken to by that old serpent Satan who said “you shall not surely die” if you eat of the tree your eyes shall be opened and you shall be as gods, knowing good and evil even though God had spoken to Adam and said “You shall not eat of it, lest ye die.”
So why did Eve, a woman (not a man) given the means to bring life into this world, choose death instead? Why did Adam her husband agree and partake? Why …. UNJUST GAIN …. To achieve a status that they were never meant to have.
Eve saw that the tree was good, it was pleasant, and it was to be desired to make one wise (Gen 3:6 ). It is important to understand that Eve was seeing through the eyes of the deceiver that was speaking to her. Eve made her own choice … her body, her choice.
Why are we confused, angry and struggling?
I John 2:16 tells us “For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world”.
That serpent, the ruler of this world, that old devil Satan told Eve … eat you shall not die, it will be for your good …. He introduced Eve into his world and she saw the only three things that he had to offer to her:
Pride of Life – It presented an opportunity to gain a status (be a god, self rule)
Lust of the Eyes – It looked good for sustenance to sustain life (food, an essential)
Lust of the Flesh – It delivered something that would improve life (wisdom)
That serpent that old devil Satan offers a solution. Just have an abortion, it will be for your good, you will understand when it is done that you have done the right thing by making your own choice.
Pride of Life – It presents an opportunity to gain a status (Freedom to choose personally)
Lust of the Eyes – It looks good for sustenance (Freedom to choose economically)
Lust of the Flesh – It delivers something that would improve life (Freedom to choose medically)
Through the disobedience(SIN) of Adam and Eve in the garden death came to all mankind. What Eve thought would gain her knowledge of good and evil and thus freedom from obedience to God brought the saddest day of her life … death of her child … Abel. And because Adam choose not protect the gift that God had given him, their child was lost to murder, the first child to die due to the lies of the Satan. The most unbearable pain a woman could ever endure. Eve lost her home, lost her child to death, and lost her firstborn as he was cast out. “I will greatly multiply thy sorrow and thy conception; in sorrow shalt bring forth children”. And shall not He render to every man according to his works?
TRUTH REVEALED
Once pregnant a woman will give birth to a child …. Either alive by natural completion of the process of life or birthed dead by the unnatural process of abortion. Which will it be?
Abortion – A modern day idol – what idol? The Idol of self choice. Are we not our own? Do we not have the freedom to decide for ourselves? God says …” It is I that have made you”. (Thou shall not make idols, Thou shall not covet, Thou shall do no murder). Abortion is offered free so why not? You will be free of your medical, economic and personal issue? No doctor, nurse, politician, friend, mentor, government, neighbor can back that up simply because freedom is only found in Jesus Christ. The world can not guarantee you anything.
Isaiah 25: 14 Whoso boasters himself of a false gift is like clouds and wind without rain.
Worship of Abortion – The solution of abortion is an answer to sin and a place to bow down to have that sin removed … Whose sin? … our own through Fornication (sex outside God’s covenant of Marriage). Another’s sin through incest, or rape? You have been abused, wronged, damaged and broken by your own or another’s act so the solution is to eliminate the result of that wrong. Humans do not want to pay the price for their own sin and certainly do not want to pay the price for anyone else’s.
How then can the wrong against your own flesh or committed against you be made right?
How can one carry an impossible burden?
How can one withstand the mental anguish and trauma of an unwanted or forced pregnancy?
Therefore, it must be considered through the medical, economical and personal decision that is my body, my choice. The answer then is that the pregnancy (the child) must be annihilated and wiped from existence so that the future may be pursued. Abortion … problem solved?
Practice of Abortion –
In Acts 19 Demetrius the silversmith made shrines for the goddess Diana whereby he and the other craftsman made gain. He called all the workmen together against Paul because Paul pointed out that there are no gods made with hand. Demetrius said that not only was their craft in jeopardy but that the great goddess would be despised and her magnificence destroyed whom all Asia and the world worshipped. All the craftsman were angry at Paul and declared Diana as great.
Then confusion … the whole city was filled with confusion. Some cried one thing and some another for the assembly was confused and they could not come together. Then the town clerk appeased the people … don’t you know that the city is a worshipper of the great goddess Diana? So be quiet and do nothing rashly, if Demetrius and the craftsman have a matter against any man, the law is open…. Vs. 39 But if ye inquire anything concerning other matters, it shall be determined in a lawful assembly 40 For we are in danger to be called in question for this day’s uproar there being no cause whereby we may give an account of this concourse.
The craftsman of abortion will have no cause whereby they will give an account of their worship of My body, My choice.
Isaiah 59: 13 In transgressing and lying against the LORD, and departing away from our God, speaking oppression and revolt, conceiving and uttering from the heart words of falsehood. And judgment is turned away backward, and justice standeth afar off: for truth is fallen in the street, and equity cannot enter. Isaiah 47:10. For thou hast trusted in thy wickedness: thou hast said , None seeth me. Thy wisdom and thy knowledge, it hath perverted thee; and thou hast said in thine heart, I am, and none else besides me.
So what solution does Abortion offer? Unjust gain ….. acquiring something personal by a means that brings personal harm to someone else. The ultimate harm …. Death. Proverbs 1:19. So are the ways of everyone that is greedy of gain; which taketh away the life of the owners thereof.
Where does the World stand? My body …. My choice.
Where does God Stand? I Am that I AM says in Isaiah 46:9 I AM GOD AND THERE IS NO NONE ELSE, I AM GOD AND THERE IS NO LIKE ME.
Where do those who are saved stand? We stand on The Truth (Jesus) … what is truth? Sanctify us by thy Word, thy Word is Truth.
Man was never meant to know good and evil and become the ruler of himself. Man’s wisdom brings death because it is the voice of the deceiver speaking to us just like Eve and Adam in the garden.
How then can the wrong against your own flesh or committed against you be made right? There is but one answer, Jesus Christ who takes away the sins of the world for all have come short of the glory of God.
How can one carry an impossible burden? Jesus Christ said “For My yoke is easy and my burden is light.
How can one withstand the mental anguish and trauma of an unwanted or forced pregnancy? Colossians 1:13 Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son: In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins: Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature: For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him: And he is before all things, and by him all things consist.
The true answer then is this – – – Lust, Sin and Death. James 1:15 But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed. Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death. Proverbs 12:28 tells us “ In the way of righteousness is life: and in the pathway thereof there is no death”. Lust, sin and death had to be annihilated from existence so that the future may be ours. The deceiver came to kill, steal and destroy but the I AM that I AM, our Savior came and defeated all three.
Hebrews 2:9 But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honor; that the by the grace of God should taste death for every man. Christ came and conquered death, hell and the grave and gave us forgiveness, mercy, and grace sufficient for any circumstance.
The idolatry of abortion and the sin of self takes away life …
Wisdom crieth without; she uttered her voice in the streets… how long will fools hate knowledge? (Proverbs 1:20-31)
