The American government is 28,093,241,873,258 trillion in debt or $85,066 per person and $224,455 as of today. The household debt is 14.2 trillion. An amount that is inconceivable to pay. Consumers pay nearly 10% or more of their annual salary in interest alone. The stimulus payments will not even come close to answering the debt problem.   Debt is expensive, demanding, and consuming. Debt requires a commitment of your time and your talent and your being. It demands your allegiance to its laws, its rules, its path.  It becomes the master and you the servant.    If you are called upon today to pay your part of the debt, could you? This debt is unpayable, how much more your sin debt.  How much more are you a slave to sin?  As with monetary debt, all of us has a sin debt that is more than we can bear.  Whether you realize it or accept it …. YOUR SIN DEBT has already come due.   YOUR DEBT WAS DUE AND YOU COULD NOT PAY …. Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death …   A payment was made …. Jesus our Lord and Savior paid the debt for all sins committed by all people for all time. Romans 6:23; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. Once for all.  The world has created a system that is unsustainable and will have to come to a point of correction…. The world powers call it a reset and the system is headed fast toward that reset.   Can we withstand that which is to come?   The good news is that we have advocate with the Father who has made a way for those who believe.   Those of us who repent from ours sins and turn from our wicked ways and accept the free gift from God celebrate our deliverance from the bondage of sin and praise Him for paying our debt. Further we have the promise of HIS soon coming. This world is not our home.   I Thessalonians 4 tells us that our Lord will come in the clouds and take us to ever be with him.   What a day that will be!   If you have not accepted Christ …. Consider today how great your debt. You have no means to pay. Accept the free gift of salvation!
